Biotechnology interfaces between biology, chemistry and engineering science. Its complexity calls for an interdisciplinary approach, and this is reflected in our people's academic backgrounds. Typical qualifications are degrees in microbiology, biochemistry, and process, plant, mechanical and automation engineering.
Our project-based organisation requires all our specialists to be generalists as well. They are involved at every stage, from research through to estimation, process design and project execution, and act as the contacts for clients. This ensures that practical experience feeds back into our research.
