Spore cultivation

Vogelbusch markets a patented system for the cultivation of filamentous (spore forming) microorganisms such as Aspergillus niger.

The Spore Box provides the ideal environment regarding temperature, pressure, humidty and air-flow velocity tailored to the respective requirements. The system permits dry harvesting for improved storage properties.

The advantages of spore propagation in a our Spore Box are:

• Closed system
  no outside contact from propagation and harvesting through to bottling
• Easily controlled dosing
  the amount of dry spores is determined by weight
• Extended shelf life of spores
