It&#8217;s unique combination of gasification and fermentation technologies turns different types of waste materials, including municipal solid waste, into advanced biofuels and renewable power.<br \/>\nIt can manufacture 8 million gallons per year (87,000 liters per day) of cellulosic ethanol under the new Renewable Fuel Standard and provide power for 1,400 homes in the area.
