The proprietary MultiPressure system considerably reduces the steam consumption compared to traditional distillation systems and optimum thermal integration further improves the energy-saving properties of the plant.<br \/>\nThe facility, which is Agroetanol\u2019s second production line in Norrk\u00f6ping, processes wheat for the most part as well as rye and barley. With the experience of their first plant Agroetanol had decided to design the raw material preparation and the fermentation based on own know-how, while other process groups were assigned to contractors.
