VOGELBUSCH Biocommodities has been awarded the contract to design a corn processing plant with a capacity of 650 m³ / day for the Brazilian ethanol producer Agricola Alvorada S.A.
Focus on Energy Optimization
A key focus of the design of the ethanol plant is energy optimization, along with measures aimed at enhancing efficiency, including a high level of automation in line with Vogelbusch’s standards, which reduce production costs and minimize consumption figures.
Production of DDGS
The plant will separate corn oil, and the de-oiled concentrated stillage will be dried together with the decanter cake to produce DDGS.
Project Contract Details
Vogelbusch provided the Basic Engineering package and the Detailed Piping Engineering package and encompasses supervision installation, erection, and of start-up, technical services, and the supply of proprietary equipment.
Current Status
Currently, our colleagues are on-site, and the commissioning phase has already commenced. During this phase, we will test the plant to ensure it is fully functional, meets all design specifications, and is ready for operation.
First production is expected beginning of 2026.
